What we do with your data

01Who we are

Gesethra (Gesethra Creative Agency Rek. Yaz. Bil. ve Dan. Ltd. Şti.) is a creative agency based in Istanbul, Türkiye, operating gesethra.com. If you have any question about how we handle your information, write to info@gesethra.com and a human will answer, usually within two working days. We act as the data controller for everything you submit through this site. Address: İstiklal Mah. Piyalepaşa Bulvarı B-C Blok No: 22/1 İç Kapı No: 1 Beyoğlu/İstanbul.

02What we collect

When you use our contact form we receive your name, email, company (optional) and message. When you book a call we additionally receive a project type. Our server keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) to keep the site healthy and to defend against abuse. Without your explicit consent we run no third-party analytics, advertising pixel or marketing cookie on this site; if you consent, only the Meta Pixel runs (see the section below). Creator applications additionally include phone, city, social handles and a portfolio link; job applications include a CV file; the newsletter stores only your email. Form notifications are delivered via the Google Workspace (Google LLC, US) email service.

03Cookies and the advertising pixel

Apart from the technical cookies the site needs to work, we run the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) only with your explicit consent. Until you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice, not a single request goes to Meta and no advertising cookie (_fbp) is created. With consent, the pages you visit, your contact, booking and service-page form submissions, creator applications and proposal approvals on your private proposal page are sent to Meta for ad measurement and remarketing. On your private proposal page, and only with consent, your email address and name are sent irreversibly hashed (SHA-256) so the conversion can be matched; the plain values are never shared with Meta. This transfer relies on your explicit consent and the data is processed outside Türkiye. You can withdraw consent at any time with the button below: the pixel stops loading and the Meta cookies in your browser are deleted.

04How long we keep it

1. Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from the date we receive them.
2. Booking submissions: up to 12 months from the date of the call (or cancellation).
3. Server access logs: up to 30 days, then automatically rotated and deleted.
4. Email correspondence: kept for as long as the client relationship lasts, plus the period required by Turkish tax and commercial law.
5. Creator and job applications (incl. CVs): at most 12 months.

05Your rights

Under KVKK (Türkiye) and GDPR (EU/UK), you can ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. We answer requests free of charge within 30 days.

06How to reach us

Send your request to info@gesethra.com with the subject line “data request”. Please include enough information for us to identify you (the email address or name you used). If you believe we mishandled your data, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).
